Kevin-Anthony lights up Nacho Daddy stage again this year Kevin-Anthony brings his rockin’, dance-along shows back to Nacho Daddy this season. His first performance will be at 7 pm Sunday, Nov. 26th, continuing the last Sunday of each month. Kevin-Anthony draws audiences in, not just with his singing, but his stories of 40 years in the entertainment industry. His personality and banter feel like a cozy night in with an interesting friend one moment, then a kick-up-your-heels dance party the next. His music includes rock, pop, Motown, blues, and soul. Backing him is the tight Roxsand rock band, originally from Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. Now based in Puerto Vallarta, Roxsand is a family band that grew up playng music together since their childhoods. To preview their talents, go to youtube, and check out a video of their live performances, in “This is the Roxsand Band.” Kevin-Anthony has performed in 28 countries, and worked as a producer as well as many other roles in the entertainment business. His Broadway and national tour performances have included “Grease,” “Dreamgirls,” and “Saturday Night Fever.” Kevin-Anthony has made Puerto Vallarta his home for seven years, entertaining and producing for many top venues here. “I fell in love with PV from the moment I arrived,” he said recently. Visiting Vallarta on a family vacation, he and a friend popped in to check out a live band that was recommended. The performer asked audience members to sing, but no one did. Kevin-Anthony was headlining as a cruise ship entertainer at the time, attempting to give himself a break from performing. But he was coaxed onstage. A top entertainment executive was in the house, witnessed the audience response to Kevin-Anthony, and offered him a job. “I finished my vacation, went home for five days to repack, and I’ve been here ever since.” Kevin-Anthony has forged a new career, serving Vallarta as a real estate agent.
